Buds to Blooms is in full creative mode right now, with some stunning new arrangements coming out of the Torquay studio, and the new warehouse in Richmond is reaching maximum capacity. It seems the benefits of displaying silk flowers over fresh is gaining traction, and not just for the obvious reasons. They are a far more economical choice, and free of the mess of dying blooms and soiled water, but silk flowers are especially relevant right now when the world is turning a keen eye on environmental issues and how we can reduce our carbon footprint.
ENVIRONMENTAL: The amount of pesticides used to produce commercially grown flowers is staggering. They secrete into soil and groundwater, end up in our drinking water, and as flowers are not considered edible crops, they are exempt from regulations on pesticides. Add to that the pollution created by flying flowers all across the world, and buying fresh flowers weekly for your business starts to sound less and less appealing.
ALLERGIES: The rapid escalation of allergies in recent years has translated into a new approach for businesses that cater to the general public. The choice of silk flowers removes the risk of triggering allergies and irritations in your valued clients and customers.
The number and type of businesses we supply is growing by the day, and schools, universities, hospitals, corporations, boardrooms, showrooms, restaurants, hotels, and salons are just a sample of our broad client base.
It’s not hard to see that our new warehouse is reaching maximum capacity, but it’s all good- we get to work in this beautiful floral jungle every day. We’ve also been busy meeting our new neighbours in this little pocket of urban Richmond, such as The Mountain Goat Brewery, Phillippa’s Bakery, Just Dance, Maker and The Royston to name a few…..after a hard days slog at the office its not much of a stretch to skip across into The Mountain Goat, or pop around the corner for a G&T at Brogans Way Distillery…….and of course our daily caffeine fix at Maker.
So consider us when thinking of an easy way to beautify your workplace, click through our website, and give Neil or Mia a call to discuss your floral arrangement needs and make your clients first impression an appealing and inviting experience!
